We first met Diane Sullivan about 10 years ago. She was hosting an open house in Point Loma that we had gone through. We are Canadians that love spending our vacations in San Diego and have come to love the city and dreamed of eventually owning a vacation home there. Diane, over the years, sent us reports about the Pont Loma real estate market. This year we bit the bullet and decided it was time to purchase our little piece of sunshine! We contacted Diane and she was instrumental in helping us buy the property from afar during a worldwide pandemic. Although we never stepped foot on the property, Diane and Zoom became our best friends! Her many years in the real estate business, her knowledge, and her calming influence never made us doubt our decision. Being a veteran real estate agent, she knows the market, never pressured us to go beyond our budget and her familiarity with the real estate community was invaluable in helping us negotiate the deal. Being unfamiliar with real estate practices in another country, we relied on her knowledge and expertise. She was very thorough during the escrow process and had issues cleared up quickly. Diane worked with us for about 2 years in our pursuit to try and find a home we could afford in Ocean Beach (which was no easy task). We had pretty much given up all hope, but Diane always had a positive and "hang in there" attitude then, due to divine intervention, magic, pure luck, or some combination of all the above along with Diane's skills, we acquired the home of our dreams. We are so super duper stoked! And Diane made it happen! What we like most about Diane is she tells it like it is she won't sugarcoat what you necessarily want to hear just to woo you over. Diane is straightforward and to the point.
